Quality Assurance (Intake Capacity: 9 seats) Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry (Intake Capacity: 6 seats)
Duration
Four semesters (two academic years) The examination consists of two parts (1) a theory examination and (2) a thesis to be submitted in the respective branches.
Schedule of the programme
M. Pharm degree being partly by papers and partly by thesis, the candidate registered for the degree will be required to pass in theory papers in the first three semesters & research work in last two semesters.
For admission to First Year M. Pharm, candidate should fulfil the following criteria:
The Candidate should be an Indian National
• Obtained score in GPAT
• Obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council
• Registered for Centralized Admission Process (CAP)
• Passed Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from any All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved institution, with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of backward class category and Persons with permanent disabilities belonging to Maharashtra State only). The Candidates should have registration with State Pharmacy Council. The candidates not having registration should produce the registration certificate within one month after securing admission.
• For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full time work experience in a registered firm I company I industry I educational and I or research institute I any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.

• Valid Score card of all competitive examinations
• Provisional Eligibility for students other than home University/Maharashtra State Board
• College Leaving certificate or Transfer certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile Certificate/Birth Certificate/Passport
• Affidavit for Tamil Linguistic Minority (Candidate admitted in Minority Quota)
• Gap Certificate (if applicable)
• Verification of authenticity of mark sheet by the respective boards in case of provisional eligibility.
• Caste certificate and Caste Validity Certificate for SC/ST /VJNT /NT /OBC/SBC candidates or Undertaking I Performa H (if applicable) -as per DTE Information Brochures
The students seeking admission to UG & PG programme in 2020-21 are requested to refer to the notifications available on DTE website www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. Eligibility criteria for admission to UG & PG programme will be as per the latest notification.
