Eligibility Criteria
At Anupama Meghe Institute of Health Sciences, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of skilled and compassionate nursing professionals. Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) program must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Minimum Age: Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of 31st December of the year of admission.
Educational Qualification: Applicants should have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and English as core subjects. A minimum aggregate of 45% marks in these subjects is required for eligibility.
Appearing Candidates: Students who are appearing for their 12th Board exams in the current academic year (March/April) are also eligible to apply. However, they must submit proof of qualifying with the required marks within 5 days of result declaration, failing which their admission will be cancelled.
Gender Criteria: Admission to the B.Sc. Nursing program is open only to female candidates.
Intake Capacity and Reservation of Seats
The institute has an annual intake capacity of 50 students for the B.Sc. Nursing program.
Seat allocation is based on merit ranking, which will be determined through an entrance examination followed by counselling.
Reservation policies as per Government of Maharashtra regulations will be applied to all categories.
Admission Process
Admission to the B.Sc. Nursing program at Anupama Meghe Institute of Health Sciences is conducted through a centralized entrance examination. The process typically includes:
Entrance Examination: Admission is primarily through a combined entrance test recognized by the institute. Details about the entrance exam, including dates and syllabus, will be published on the institute’s official website.
Counselling: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for counselling sessions to confirm their choice of course and verify documents.
Medical Examination: Selected candidates must undergo a medical fitness test conducted by the affiliated hospital. The cost of the medical examination will be borne by the candidate. Only medically fit candidates will be granted admission.
Foreign Nationals
The eligibility criteria for foreign and NRI candidates are equivalent to those prescribed for Indian students. Foreign applicants must also meet all academic and health requirements and follow the guidelines laid down by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
