Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm.)

The institute has reached a new milestone by receiving approval for commencement of Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm.) in academic year 2020-2021.

Duration of the Course: The duration of the course shall be for two academic years, including 6 months’ apprenticeship with each academic year spread over a period of not less than 180 working days in addition to 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months.

Eligibility Criteria
Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate
The Candidate should be an Indian National
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject. Note: Other State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution quota only.

NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National.-
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology.
Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Rules.

Curriculum/ Course structure for D.Pharm.
The course is based on the guidelines issued by DTE. A student shall not be declared to have passed Diploma in Pharmacy examination unless he/she secures A minimum of 40% in each subject, separately for theory and practicals (inclusive of sessional marks) atleast 40% marks in each of the subject separately in theory examination, including sessional marks and atleast 40% marks in each of the practical examination including sessional marks.
